Methi ki sabzi or fenugreek leaves. It is very healthy and is consumed very strictly everywhere in india. They are great at regulating sugar levels, fights cancer and aids digestion.This recipe is typically from Maharashtra, India where we make it with the combination of red lentils or Masoor ki dal.. One can also use toor dal or moong dal also. So lets start with the recipe..

Methi ki sabzi
Ingredients:
Fenugreek leaves
red lentils
salt
sugar
red chilli powder
ghee
toor dal
method:
1.firstly clean the fenugreek leaves. Then add water and submerge it for 5 min.
2.In a pan, add oil. Then add the methi leaves while the heat is on high. Saute a little.
3.Then add the red lentil, salt, red chilli powder,sugar. Saute again.
4.In the end add ghee and toor dal already made. (dal is otional)
5.Let it cook for more time. Off the flame. Serve hot with Bhakri or Roti.

Zubereitung:
1. Erstens die Methi blatt reinigen.
2. In einer Pfanne, fügen Sie Öl. Dann einpaar knoblauchzehen zerdrucken. Danach Methi-Blätter, während die Hitze auf hoch ist. Sautieren.
3. Dann fügen Sie die rote Linsen, das Salz, das rote Chilipuder, den Zucker hinzu. Wieder sautieren.
4. Fügen Sie schließlich Ghee und schon gemachte Dal (gelb linsen soup) hinzu. (ist otional)
5. 2 minuten kochen lassen. Mit Bhakri oder Roti geniessen.
