Methi ke thepla | Fenugreek Thepla

Indian Methi means Fenugreek. We are aware of the seeds but not really the vegetable. Well this is again a tropical food item. Indians specially the maharashtrians and Punjabis use it in drastically for flavouring. The dried leaves of Methi are used as herbs in Flavouring the delicious dishes. Its very healthy again. Todays recipe is snack/travel food plus healthy variety to make. It mainly included methi, curd, gram flour, indian spices and flovours with loads of love. Do give it a try. Its easy to roll and super yummy to eat. Lets start..!

Ingredients
Wheat flour – 2 cups
Gram flour – 1 cup
Methi chopped – 1 cup
Yogurt – 4 tbsp
Jaggery – 1 tbsp
Green chilli+ Ginger paste -1 tbsp
Red chilli powder -1 tsp
Salt – as per taste
Turmeric -1/2 tsp
Coriander powder -1 tsp
Cumin powder – 1tsp
Sesame seeds- 1tsp
Oil – to aaply
Water – as per required
Process:
1.Add all the ingredients mentioned above and mix with little water gradually making it into a soft dough.
2.Keep it aside for 20 mins.
3.Now make small balls like we do for Roti and roll them into round Thepla.
4.Roast both the sides applying oil and let it cook until brown on both the sides.
5.You can apply Ghee and also dry Peanut chutney and roll.
6.Tastes yummy with yogurt or pickles.

Rotes Chilipuder – 1tl
Salz – beim geshmack
Kurkuma -1/2 tl
Korianderpuder -1 Tl
Kreuzkümmelpuder – 1Tl
Sesamkörner -1Tl
Öl – zum anwenden
Wasser – Bei bedarf
Zubereitung:
1. Fügen Sie alle Zutaten hinzu, die oben erwähnt sind. Mischen Sie es mit wenig Wasser, das in ein weiches Teig ist.
2. Behalten Sie es beiseite seit 20 Minuten.
3. Machen Sie jetzt kleine Bälle wie für Roti und rollen es in um Thepla.
4. Rösten Sie beide die Seiten, etwas Ol verwenden und lassen Sie es bis Braun auf beiden die seiten kochen.
5. Sie können Ghee anwenden und auch trockene Erdnuss-chutney wenden.
6. Schmeckt prima mit Joghurt oder Pickels.
