Egg Puffs| Bakery style

Puffs and Pastry are always so dear to heart. Sorry, i mean for tongue and tummy! So India is also not different than other countries. After all, british left a lot cool stuff behind and indian bakers tried and tested numerous varieties around it. One of them is this lecker puffs and pastries. So Indian version of puffs are very yummy, spicy, hot and full of tastes which explodes. No don’t get me wrong. We don’t cherish it daily. Its 2-3 times in a week! So Egg puffs count one among them. The cost is so affordable that one can eat it daily. School goings, employees, uncles and aunties just hang around the bakeries and they are always full. The aroma of bakeries that wander the whole street, no one can deny the appetite of those crispy and yummy puffs and pastries. Hence this very recipe is my favourite as i hardly get to see in Germany. But worry not, we do get the readymade Pastry sheets, which makes life so easy and ya definitetly good. Egg puffs is combination of crispy pastry with masala inside. The flavours of garam masala with egg is just a perfect deal. Just baked for 20 minutes and then cherish the Crispiness.

So here is the recipe:

Ingredients:
Boiled eggs
Pastry sheets – ready
Onions chopped – 1 large
tomatoes diced – 1 small
Coriander – chopped
green chillies
garlic – pressed
mustard seeds
red chilli powder
turmeric
garam masala
Asofoetida
salt
black pepper
oil
milk
Method:
1.Firstly hard boil 3-4 eggs and keep aside. In a separate pan heat some Oil and add to it mustard seeds and asafoetida. Then add green chillies and saute.
2.Now add the chopped onions and also press garlic into it. stir again until onions turn soft. Then add tomatoes.
3.Now add all the spices like turmeric, salt, red chilli, pepper, garam masala and stir nicely until little water ozzes out of the mixture.
4.Turn the flame off and keep it aside to cool.
5.On the kitchen platform, neatly arrange the puff pastry sheet and try to cut equal shape square. Add the above made masala on every sheet right in the centre.
6.Place a half egg on top of the masala and close all the ends as shown above in the video.
7.Lastly brush some milk on top of the puffs and bake it on 200 C for 20 minutes or until it turns crispy and brown.
8.Enjoy the yummy snack with some ketchup or just plain.

Zutaten:
Gekochte Eier 3-4
Blatterteig -1
Zwiebeln gehackt – 1 großer
Tomaten – 1 kleiner, würfelt
Koriander – gehackt
grüner chillies – 2-3
Knoblauch – gedrückt
Senfsamen
Rotes Chilipuder
Kurkuma
Garam masala
Asofoetida
Salz
schwarzer Pfeffer
Öl
Milch
Methode:
1. Erstens einige Eier hart gekockt werden und behalten. In einer anderen Pfanne etwas Öl heißen und dazu Senfsamen und asafoetida hinzu fügen. Dannach die grünen chillies daze und sautieren.
2. Jetzt die gehackten Zwiebeln hinzu und auch Knoblauch darin drüken. Verrühren wieder, bis Zwiebeln weich werden. Dann Tomaten hinzu fügen.
3. Nun alle Gewürze wie Kurkuma, Salz, roter Chili, Pfeffer, garam masala hinzu geben und rühren bis wenig Wasser aus der Mischung raus.
4. Drehen Sie die Flamme ab und behalten es beiseite, um kühl zu werden.
5. Auf der Küchenplattform, ordentlich die Blatterteig ordenen und den Versuch ein, gleiches Gestaltenquadrat zu schneiden. Den obengenannten gemachten masala auf jeder Platte direkt im Zentrum hinzu geben.
6.Ein halbes Ei oben auf dem masala legen und schließen alle wie gezeigt, oben im Video.
7. Bürsten Sie letzt etwas Milch oben auf den teig und auf 200 C seit 20 Minuten backed lassen, oder bis es knusperig und braun wird.
8. Genießen Sie den prima Snacks mit einem Ketchup oder ohne.
